Silliman Homes CitySide Breaks Ground on “House of Hugs”April 24, 2015
ORLANDO,Fla. (April 24, 2015) – Silliman Homes CitySide, a leading builder of luxury homes in Central Florida, recently hosted a ceremonial groundbreaking for “House of Hugs,” a four-bedroom, 2,594 square-foot custom home being built and sold at fair market value to benefit three local nonprofit organizations.
Proceeds from the sale will be distributed among the Florida Hospital for Children, Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida and Greater Orlando Builders Association’s Foundation. “Giving back to the community and bringing hope to our neighbors is a passion of mine,” said Bill Silliman, president of Silliman Homes CitySide. “I’m so thankful for all the support we’ve received from our contractors and United Legacy Bank. Without these partnerships, building ‘House of Hugs’ would not be possible.”
The home is located just north of the Mills 50 district at 1118 Ayrshire St. in Orlando. It will take approximately six months to build and isslated for completion at the end of October 2015.
This is the first time Silliman Homes CitySide is donating the proceeds of a house to charity. The company is well-known for finding hidden gems in communities throughout CentralFlorida – the overlooked home sites and older homes ready for demolition – and constructing new homes with innovative custom design options. _______________
